hello! I need help from you ladies and gents :) I’m thinking of getting a new bag. These 3 bags are what i’m currently lusting after. Considering my budget i can get one of these choices:
1. Celine Nano Belt (in Grey) & LV alma bb epi in indigo
2. My Lady Dior in Navy Blue Lambskin

To help picturing, here are what I have currently:
1. Goyard St. Louis PM in Black
2. Celine nano luggage in black smooth leather
3. Gucci marmont mini flap in nude
4. Chanel mini rectangle in black caviar
5. Chanel woc in navy blue caviar

I had celine mini belt bag in grey color but sold it because i never reach for it, it’s too bulky for my body frame. Also had alma bb in rose ballerine epi but sold it too because i was too afraid using light color bag.
Never had lady dior before.

I love both 3 bags. My concern for the lady dior is: i already have 2 smooth leather bags (celine nano and gucci marmont). The lady dior will be the third, and i won’t have any ‘carefree’ bag. I always feel uneasy carrying smooth leather bag :lol:Although i LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of lady dior.

If i buy celine nano and alma bb, i definitely wouldn’t be able to shake lady dior out of my mind. But i’ll have 2 more casual and carefree bag.

Gosh, handbags are confusing  What do you guys think? Any input will be appreciated

The LD has handles that stick up but awkwardly when worn crossbody because they can tip sideways. This bag I find very dressy and ladylike.

The alma BB is cute but again very dressy and ladylike.

The Céline nano belt I have and adore but I can offer another suggestion you may not have considered that I like more than my Céline and I’m a major Céline fan.

The Fendi mini peekaboo, I have it in nappa but you may prefer the grained leather version. It has a similar aesthetic to your three choices but the handle is never in the way, as there’s only one, it is so easy to get in and out of and you can close it super quick. The strap is adjustable and whilst thin I think this makes it more comfortable and it stays on the shoulder better. It can do ladylike but it can also do casual. I absolutely love it.

I just tried on the Lady Dior in the midnight blue lambskin in store yesterday and omg it is a dream! So so beautiful. However, I had to walk away because I knew it was not a bag I would wear all that often. Both because of the leather and because the style is more fancy (e.g. I don't think I would wear it to work, or use it casually on the weekends). So from that perspective, I didn't think I'd get the cost per wear out of it. Coincidentally, I think my next bag purchase will be the Alma...but in the PM size and epi leather, so I can use it for work. This is how I currently justify my purchases - by whether I will get enough use out of them. Hope that helps!
