Help me pick my first Chanel :)

Hi guys,

I'm a LV girl mostly, but I'm in need of a classic black (and classic white, but one at a time!) purse. I'd also like to get it before the big price increase!

-I'd like a medium-sized shoulder bag
-As I said, in either black or white
-Gold hardware
-I can go to around $1500, maybe a bit more.

If you have a suggestion, please let me know the name and the price of the bag, and pics if you have any!

P.S. Are Chanel bags a bit cheaper in Hawaii, like Louis Vuittons are, compared to the rest of the U.S.?

Edit: I'd like something pretty classic.

(Please point me in the direction of any threads that have already answered these questions!)

Jumbo - 12" x 8" x 3" $1,695.00 Caviar + $100.00 more for the lambskin

The sizes for the Reissue 2.55:

$1795 A302224: - The Baby 7.5 W x 5.75 H x 1.75 D inches

$1895 A302225: - Small 9.75" x 7.06" x 2.16"

$1995 A302226: - Medium 11" x 8" x 2.5"

$2095 A302227: - Large 12.25" x 9.18" x 2.5"

If this is your first bag, I suggest you go with the caviar as it's more durable and withstands those scratches/scuffs from daily use. The lambskin is gorgeous but very delicated. It's easy to get scratch. Just have fun browsing around the link above before making final decision whether to go with classic flap or reissue
