Help me pick a wallet? :)

Since the Kate Spade sample sale is on (damn, I knew I should've checked my personal e-mail this morning instead of waiting until almost noon), it seems like a great opportunity to get a wallet (and although I'd love a bag, need to save $$ to get a different bag professionally cared for).

Here are the two I'm thinking of, they are super super similar haha:

I like that the first one is dark on the outside and will probably stay cleaner. The site says it was designed for an outlet--does that mean it isn't made as nicely? I've never been to a Kate Spade outlet, but I've checked out some Michael Kors outlet/Nordstrom Rack stuff and it has been noticeably less nice.

Second one has the beautiful cobble hill leather, but it maybe a little more boring? Also, website says it has a magnetic closure, but it's pretty clearly a snap in the image.

Thoughts? Haha, I know this is a pretty minor decision, but they are so similar that I'd love to know what your preference is, :smile:

Boy, this is tough because both are so nice. For me personally, I would probably go with the Cobble Hill because it has an exterior zip pocket which I need. The color is light but its pebbled cowhide which may make it a little more resistant to wear. Plus, I love the gold spade detail on the Cobble. Seems a little more detailed. Either would be a great choice. Post which one you go with. :smile:

in terms of outlet vs. regular version, you can see on the "outlet" version that the hardware on the front / logo is slightly different. the cobble hill version has the spade emblem, while the outlet version has a cutout of the spade.

But in terms of functionality, the two are identical. They are both "Stacy" wallets, and both will have the back zip pocket (even thought the description for the grant park version does not say so). Which wallet did you go with?

Was also wondering the same thing about the difference between outlet and full retail. I spoke with an SA at KS about it, and all she said was there was a "difference in the quality."

When I spoke with an SA at the outlet about the difference, she said that the materials used are exactly the same, the quality is the same, but the hardware is slightly different, usually simpler.

Not sure who is right on this one, but I do believe in buying whatever makes you happy.:smile:
