Hi everyone, getting my bonus coming up later this month and wanting to invest in a good, luxury bag to have for years to come. I’ve always been drawn to the LV Neverfull (Damier Ebene specifically), but wonder if this bag is going out of style/so many fakes out there that it’s not worth it?

I also really love the Saint Laurent Shopping Tote as well. I’m looking for a bag that can go to work to dinners/casual night out seamlessly.

I carry a large laptop most days of the week for work (dims: 15 L x 11 W, 4 lbs- so large, yuck) as well as the usuals- wallet, cosmetic pouch, keys, phone, chargers, etc.

Edit: also have always loved Goyard totes as well... thoughts on those compared to the Neverfull?

Budget is around $1500-$2000 though I’d prefer to stay on the lower end of that.

Any advice is appreciated! I am 29, live in a big city and want an investment bag that is still somewhat “in” and “trendy” if that makes sense!

Thank you!

I am unsure why this is posted in the Tory Burch forum, unless you are also interested in Tory Burch totes too?

Are you most drawn to the Neverfull? It is a spacious bag and it is a classic style. I am not sure if it is one that you would want to carry for work and a lot of people do have the Neverfull (depending on where you are). However, if this bag makes your heart sing then this could be a good option.

Thank you for your insight - I am new to the forum and mistakenly posted this under Tory Burch. I have since moved the thread elsewhere. This can be deleted if there is an admin or if someone can instruct me how to do it I am happy to.

Thank you, I really am most drawn to the Neverfull. Do you mind expanding on why you think it is not one I would want to carry for work? I walk about 6-8 minutes to my office, twice a week and the other 3 days a week I am commuting in my car, if that helps.

Thanks!
