Help me pick a color Evie!?

I'm going to get the larger sized Evie to use as a casual bag/diaper bag while on maternity leave in the next few weeks (earlier than expected).

I'm debating between, black epsom, gold Togo or RC clemance with a navy and red stripe strap.

Initially I had my sights set on gold, but after taking inventory and thinking it will be a more winter used bag in the near term...I'm leaning black. But I just don't know...

For hermes, I have a Orange epsom evie from maybe 2009 (I forget the exact orange...but it matches the H box perfectly), an etoupe Lindy and a blue st cyr B35- both clemence and PHW. The red was a surprise suggestion from my SA...love it but feel it's redundant with my non-H bags (several Chanels, fendis in reds and pinks).

With respect to My H bag long term plan, I'd to get a black Kelly retour in a larger size and a gold/GHW b30 or 35 in Togo down the road...I know totally different bags, but I'm more of a minimalist when it comes to bags...so for me I don't like too many in the same color families.

Maybe I'm over thinking this, but I'd love suggestions or your thoughts. I'm so inspired by how all you ladies style your bags and your epic and well edited collections. Also any pics of your evies appreciated too!

If your going to use as a diaper bag, I would think it would get a ton of use. haha! I would definitely go with black. It will always looks fab and you don't have to worry about stains or things like that when handling little one. Good luck with your decision.

I think gold. H gold goes with everything! I learned this the hard way, i wanted rouge casaque so badly that I never thought about gold when I purchased my evie and I find that I can't wear it with everything! I wardrobe consist of mainly earth tones or mauve/pink and the one day I was at the summer house I had a green dress one and did not want to carry my RC evie bc i looked like a christmas tree!!!!

Good luck deciding, the evie is a great everyday bag!

I suggest the black Epsom. Bottles leak, wipes get left open, lots of opportunities for unavoidable mishaps that might be visible on a lighter color. Also, I haven't seen an Evie offered in anything other than Clemence or Epsom in quite some time.
Congratulations on the new baby!

AFAIK Evies aren't made in Togo at the moment.
I would get black but in Clemence as it's for baby things. Black Clemence is indestructible. Also, the GM bag in Epsom won't be as comfortable to wear.

In the GM size, I would definitely recommend a dark color and clemence. Most of my Evelynes are GM, but when I looked at a Sauge GM, it looked huge- lighter colors and pop colors can be overwhelming in the GM.

If you wear black bags, you can't go wrong with a black Evelyne in clemence. Something like Etain or a darker blue or brown would be good options as well. I tend to carry my black Evelyne mostly in the fall/ winter, and my Bleu Saphir in the spring/ summer. Rouge H is also a nice option if you want a neutral red. My personal opinion is pop colors like casaque are better suited to the pm size, and while the amazone strap is fun, it's too limiting for me in an everyday bag, much better suited as a second strap or with the tpm.

Remember that the GM and especially the TGM Evelyn's are quite heavy empty. That's a problem for me. Black would be easier to keep clean--especially the strap which you can sponge clean.
