Help me pick a 30th bday pressie

So I'm turning the big 3-0 next year & I'm planning on starting a little fund to buy myself a luxury present.

I'm building myself a classic capsule jewellery collection & the more I research it the more I like the idea of mixing rose & yellow gold (so warm & feminine). By my 30th I would already have 1) plat. wedding set, 2) plat. green diamond eternity ring, 3) RG diamond pendant, 4) RG diamond bezel stud earrings.

The conditions are :
• Max £800 ($1000)
• Dainty style
• Can be purchased in U.K. (Or shipping / customs incl in budget)

What do you think about the Cartier Trinity XS ring? Thought it might be nice to tie in the different metals.

I have that band. I sometimes wear it between and .52ct eternity band and my e-ring.
You'd probably like it since the white gold band is hardly noticeable, which is one of the reasons, I don't love it. It looks mostly YG if you just give a casual glance, or from a far.

I like the Cartier Trinity ring but I don't have any ring I can't resize. At my age, my fingers swell & I have some rings now that I need to get resized so they're more comfortable to wear. I think I would personally prefer a larger Trinity ring because I have larger hands to begin with. I think since your wedding set is platinum (mine is too) & you really like rose & yellow gold combinations, any fine jewelry piece with the 3 gold colors would be perfect so you can tie together & blend the gold colors.

I do like the idea of getting something to tie in all the metals. Is there a particular piece you would suggest? Or a particular designer?

And yes I hadn't thought about resizing! I recently had my wedding set resized because my fingers never shrunk back to their pre-pregnancy size. Is it really not possible to resize the Trinity ring? Can't they just do each band?

You could probably contact Cartier Customer service & ask if the ring could be resized if needed. I can't suggest any particular designer or piece. There are many quality gold pieces out there that are not branded to any particular designer. Depending on where you are, you could check with your local jewelers for a tri color gold item. If you really want a designer branded piece, Cartier, Chopard, VCA, & Bulgari are good designers to start with. I have a local jeweler who makes many of my pieces....I buy the diamonds or stones & they will design what I want or find a setting I'm looking for.
