They look ethnic to me,and as peeps have said,its red coral on the drop parts.I worked for a guy soooooooooo long ago that used to import incredibly similar things from India,also Africa if memory serves,its widely used in their jewellery,so maybe have a lil hunt on Google for red coral/ethnic and see what that pulls up for you???
