Hello !,
My new obsession ( and persistent !! :p ) of the moment is a blue Birkin !!!

But not a navy blue and not too bright (ex.: Talassa is too dark for me and I don't want blue jeans ..which i have already in Kelly), which will become obsolete too easily, and , as I don't buy one every day, I would'nt want to get tired of the color ....

Can be a Saphire or Royal Blue or Brighton???
And what do you think between Barénia or Togo or leather?

Last question , sorry i'm long ... do you prefer 30 or 35 cm, because I normally ordered 35cm, but after a day ( of shopping...:D ) I thing that is too heavy...don't you thing ?, and I don't have much in it !!

Thank you for your opinion, I don't know the new colors for 2013, but there are certainly among you who are aware of!!!!

kiss kiss...:heart::heart:

pls have a look at the reference section about difference between togo and barenia. One is grained, one is smooth. They are leather types, not colors.

i dont think you can get a blue barenia anymore. but never say never with H. I saw an indigo barenia birkin recently.

going back to your question:
1. which blue? are you looking for exotic skins or normal skins? Cause some blues are available only to exotics but not normal skins, and vice versa.
2. if normal skins, try bleu de galice. which is not too dark and not too bright. definitely darker than bleu lin but lighter than thallasa.
3. sizewise, 35 can be heavy. as you normally order 35 (I assume you have 35 already), why not try a 30 to complete your collection?

Goodluck and keep us posted on your decision.

Thank you footlocker, for your advice !!and sorry, I am very poorly expressed in my post...:oh:
I know that Barénia and Togo are leather, but I just wanted to ask which do you think is the strongest, but I'm looking in the right section! And I do not want exotic leather ..

Thank you also for the information on the blues, I'm going to look now!

And yes, I already have a Birkin 35 and I love this size! That is why I always hesitate to order a 30 ... a matter of habit of the eye, no doubt!
Thank you anyway!

My pleasure.

As a owner of both Togo and Barenia, I would say that both are strong leather. Barenia is a saddle leather so it is a workhorse leather. However, barenia is VERY susceptible to scratches and Togo is more resilient to scratches. That said, getting a barenia is not easy now given the limited supply. So you will not go wrong with getting a Togo.

Yes, bleu tempte should also be an option, as other members pointed out. And it is also a very sturdy leather. Good luck with your search!
