Hi!
I'm new to this part of the forum so sorry if this post is in the wrong place.
I have spent a good portion of my weekend looking for the perfect black boot and haven't found any that look right.
I'm 5'0 and 107lbs......my calves are athletic but on the smaller side. I've been looking for everyday black boots that are mid-calf in length or end just below the knee. I'm looking for something casual but still classy with a small comfortable heal.....nothing too flat. Something to wear with tights and sweater dresses or skinny jeans. Nothing too western or rugged. I normally wear a size 5.5.
I tried on the Frye Engineer just for size and the 5.5 was too big. Normally I wear a 5.5 in shoes but would be a 5 in those particular ones. The Frye Engineers were too rugged for my style.
Any ideas for my perfect winter black boot? I'm willing to spend up to $225.
Thanks!
