Hi ladies

I come to you seeking help. I’m in the market for a new work bag. I’m your usual working girl. Laptop, charger, accessories, glasses, wallet, mobile,other essentials and some not planned for load being carried on a daily basis

I have carried YSL tote which I LOVE for number of years but I feel it is time to give it a rest. What other options I have ? I’m looking for more contemporary choices and would tend to avoid logo mania. PS1 satchel , chole Marcie, etc?

I love the Chloe Marcie. I even have one but I think it may get heavy with a laptop, etc inside it. Not sure about the PS1 in terms of weight for a larger size, but it can be fussy to get in and out of. I have a mini size and the closures can get annoying at times.

One of the nicest totes I have seen lately is the Tom Ford T Tote...very simple, yet classy. No logos to speak of on those. I think they start around $1000 depending on size. I also actually really like the look of the new Christian Louboutin Cabata East-West Tote. There is a hit of studding just around the handle but it isn't much...not like a Valentino. It is simply a lovely tote with just a hint of extra interest. It especially looks stunning in the nude color. These start somewhere around $1200, I think.

For more affordable options, Tory Burch has some nice totes that don't break the bank. The Phoebe tote only has a very small name across the top (similar to YSL tote). Longchamp also has some really nice leather totes. I especially like the Shop-It line from them.

Thank you. I love a good tote but i’m hoping to switch to a style. Having said that functionality is very important at the same time, so light weight and in and out matters. What do you think about givenchy pandora ( medium) I love the look of it? Does any has exowitn Salvatore sofia ?

Pandora is a great bag, and the medium is very roomy, I’m not sure if it’s suitable for a laptop though, it might distort the bag. I recommend the garden party, I have 2 and love them, they look lovely and they’re very easy to live with - light, capacious and under the radar. I like look of the Marcie and owned a medium one previously, which I sold because of the (relatively) narrow opening which I found a faff, and the shoulder strap which is too short to comfortably carry x-body on the med. I understand the large size Marcie is very heavy indeed, but if you’re only carrying it from home to car to office that might not be too much of an issue :smile:
