I have the option to get the cruise10 red in lambskin and ONLY lambskin cause my friend can't locate the caviar in paris.
I have never used lambskin cause i'm freaking anal about scratching it and it won't look well perfect anymore.
I LOVE the red but am not so sure now that I can't have it in caviar... the other factor that's causing me such pain is that the bag is 30% cheaper in Paris than in Singapore...
so what should I do??
buy the lambskin cause its so cheap compared to at home and protect it with my life or should I just forget about it :/

I would go for the lambskin and take the savings... Red lambskin sounds divine! Lambskin really isn't as fragile as many make it seem... Light scratches fade away as soon as you massage the leather a little.

Unless, you don't like the look of lambskin, I would go for it. All my Chanels are lambskin and I use them almost daily. Lambskin may not be a low maintenance as caviar but is definitely not like tissue paper or anything like that and should be find as long as someone is not rough with the bag.

If you find that you are hard on your bags i say skip it but if it's your olny chance to get a Chanel go for it. lambskin os so beautiful . While I don't own a lambskin I always admire it. I am too hard on my things to invest that kind of money for it to get ruined.

Oh, get that beautiful red lambskin! I have a Chanel vintage black lambskin that was purchased (dare I say it?) in 1983. While I will admit it is not my everyday handbag, it has received a lot of wear over the past 26 years and still looks fabulous.

If you think you will never use it then I say pass. Even though it's cheaper it's too much money to spend on something that will be sitting in your closet.

But I personally find the lambskin flaps to be prettier than the caviar ones and have had no real problems with them. They really hold up quite well and are a lot lighter than the caviar ones.

It depends on how much you will use it!!! It sounds like a beauty and a great deal but it's not worth it if you won't love it and cherish it as much as the caviar!!!

OP, I only have lambskin and I don't find it to be that much of a fuss. As long as you don't hit the purse against sharp corners or rub it against anything abrasive, your bag should be fine!! It's a beautiful shade of red and lambskin is more luxe and softer than caviar!

If you see any minute scuffs, make sure to use the natural oil on your fingertips to massage them away..and you can probably pick up some stuff from LMB..(lambskin care products)

it's worth the price discount!!

lambskin is fine, your purse will stay looking perfect. but if you are so hesitant, OP, i'd suggest waiting and finding caviar. (i do prefer caviar, but have some lambskin pieces as well)

That is an amazing discount. If you are going to use it occasionally I say go for it! Heck, for that price I'd probably go for it, because it sounds like you could always sell it (even for a profit!) if you decide it's too delicate for you. The red is amazing, and for that price I'd probably go for it!

Go for it! Red + lambskin is simply classic elegance at its best. The lambskin isn't as fragile as most believe it to be. Mine looks as perfect as the day I brought it home from the boutique. I think dark colors & red is feasible with lambskin (not so much with lighter colors). It's even better knowing that you got it for 30% less. You could probably use the savings to put towards another Chanel item.
