Hi all, I’m in a quandary between two bags, I can’t decide! I’d love some help. I am looking at the LV Buci in black and in honey, as well as the YSL 5 a 7 small souple shoulder bag in the wine colour or black. I have all black bags and sometimes think I’d like a change but then I chicken out. I also mostly have crossbody bags, my only real shoulder bags are the Onthego mm and my Citadine. What would you choose?

I adore the look of the LV Buci in black. The only question is, does it offer enough storage for your items, or do you want a larger shoulder bag like the YSL? As someone who has mainly black bags also, I find that if I try a different colour "just to have something different", I still reach for my black bags more. Boring... I know lol. But I like what I like.

Thank you! I had gone to have a look at an Onthego pm in empreinte but I just didn’t want another giant print. I saw the Buci and thought it was very cute! I did see the ysl too and it was classic and beautiful so I was in a quandary!
The YSL is a beautiful bag - imo, it’s much more elegant, and classic, and I also prefer the shape. I also think that the leather on the YSL will be far superior to that of the LV. I‘d say go for the wine, but I totally get where you’re coming from when it comes to adding colors! The majority of my bags are black, and I keep wanting to add a red/burgundy to my collection, but also chicken out when it comes to making the purchase.
I love my Buci black. have You seen Buci honey and Buci black in person? I went into the store with my mind set in Honey. But after seeing both of them in person, I went with Buci black. i feel Buci black can dress up and down without problems. Somehow, Buci honey was not that impressive in person to me. Perhaps the purple lining made the black more elegant looking?
