Help me decide: which lightweight luxe tote?

Saint Laurent large shopper or Céline phantom cabas? I do prefer the taupe color of the Celine but I believe saint laurent makes one that is similar that I could exchange for. Saint Laurent costs half as much as the Celine (I also had discount code for saint Laurent). They seem to hold about the same. Any others I should consider (must be medium-large size, lightweight leather, neutral color)?

Exactly it! That was the color showing online, not sure why I was sent the dark grey one instead. Still having a hard time debating. I actually went and exchanged for the taupe st Laurent to try on at home. It's not as nice as the Celine but I think it works well for my style (very minimalistic) and is so much better priced.

Just online- none of the dept stores near me have it. I was concerned that the leather would be stiff although the pebbled version seemed softer. Do you have one?

I don't have one, although I would be interested in getting one some time.

I have to say, I really like the Celine. I tried it on last week and really loved it -- didn't buy because I really need a tote with a zipper. But it drapes beautifully, and has a casual, elegant vibe if the tie is left undone. The Saint Laurent is a nice bag, I just think the Celine is a bit sleeker/cooler.

I prefer the looks of the Celine, but I have not seen or held either of these in person so this is really purely based on the photos! I am drawn more to both the colour and the style of the Celine.
