Hi, I’m looking at the Gucci canvas slides in blue denim, beige with ebony and beige with off white trim. I can see pros to all 3 colors which is why I can’t decide. I also recently purchased the Gucci Angelina platform slides in blue denim. I really like the platforms and they are heavy, so I imagine I’ll be wearing them when there’s not a lot of walking involved. I thought of returning the platform slides and maybe getting 2 pairs of the flat slides if I really can’t decide. But those denim platforms are so cute. I wear a small size, 5.5/35.5 and 35 in ace sneakers so my feet looking bigger in the platforms isn’t a concern. Appreciate your thoughts on which color you think would be more versatile and anything you think I should consider that I may not have thought of.

Let's be practical, Winter's coming (if you're in the Northern hemisphere) and that light toe bed is not going to remain off-white for long - even if you wear socks. You can wear the others all-year-round anyway.

I say get the denim + the black trim sig-print

@papertiger, thanks for the input. I’m in SoCal so they’d pretty much be year round shoes. Would you return the platforms? They’re not the easiest to walk in but I do love the way they look.

In my experience, shoes can look as good as they like, but if they don't feel comfortable, they won't get worn. Spend the most on the shoes you know you'll wear, your feet will thank you too.

That's why the most expensive shoes I own (all brands) are bespoke Gucci Derbys (low-heel men's style shoes). My beautiful heels tend to be bought in the sale (apart from my Gucci red Bettys).

I know you’re right, I’be been trying to justify them which I know is not a good sign. That pretty much means they don’t quite work. Thanks for the reinforcement … Gucci Jolie slides here we come.
