Hello!
So I am having a time of it with deciding on a size for my first (but not really...?) YSL Loulou Puffer. I previously owned and quickly sold the YSL Small Loulou as I really did not like all of the dividers inside of the bag + I realized that super shapely bags aren't by favorite. So I have landed on the puffer which has been quite a surprise as I did not love the look when it first came out, but now I cannot get enough!
First for consideration is the small in Black on Black or Beige with GHW or even Blanc? ... which seems a bit more roomy than the traditional small loulou?
Second is the medium - again black on black, or beige with GHW, or even green with GHW. It seems like it could maybe be too big potentially?
Some things to know I love carrying bags on the shoulder or crossbody. I don't carry a ton for example - just a small wallet, a little catch all for lipsticks, mask, maybe sunglasses, and small moleskin notebook on occasion. Another thing - I own a fair amount of black bags... I don't know how that happened, but alas I have about half of my bags as black bags and those tend to be the ones I grab. I do have a tan bag which I grab on occasion as well. And a few that are more colorful.. But black bags rule my closet. I am trying to tell myself that I should own a beige bag especially with warmer weather arriving here and something that may stand out a bit more from the others, but still be easy to wear. I am also on the tall side - 5'11 and slim build - and I do have a more classic/boho style as well and honestly I don't need to get dressed up often (Covid..).
So, those of you that own the small or medium loulou do you ever wish you had gotten a different size? Pros/cons of each? Color wise is black on black too bland and should I try out the beige? I do love the look of both, and I loved the color of the beige (classic) loulou I had and would've worn it quite a bit if I felt differently about it.
If you have another bag suggestions I have looked at the medium Niki and can't decide how I feel about it..
thanks all!
