Help me decide: Monoglam Speedy 20 in pink vs Pochette Metis East West in creme

I just purchased the Monoglam speedy 20 in pink. I like the bag, but I'm also eyeing the pochette metis east west in Creme. I can't do both that's just me being greedy. Which should I keep or exchange? - thx!!

For reference my current LV collection:
- Speedy 20 DE
- Mini Loop monoglam gold
- Keepall 25 in mineral grey from the men's line

I voted for the speedy. I like the pink color but would be nervous with the creme and color transfer.

I would keep the speedy pink monoglam. It's limited color. The pochette metis cream (I believe) is a permeant color. You'll have time to save up again to purchase in the future.

I’m so jealous you got the pink Monoglam Speedy! I would vote that one as the keeper — I love the PM East West but I would worry about the light color and color transfer or general dirt/wear showing up. Plus I think the Monoglam makes a great statement accessory!

That’s a tough choice! I think the crème EW is much dressier than the speedy. Plus you just got the speedy 20 de, and you have a keepall 25. That being said if the speedy 20 size and zip works for you then I would keep the monoglam pink.

Thanks! I'm torn about the dirt/wear, it is something that crosses my mind but I'm also very ambitious until the first stain appears lol.

Yes you're right the zip is constricted compared to the speedy 20 de! I didn't noticed until now... not a deal breaker, but I can see how it's annoying.

My vote goes to the speedy monoglam 20 pink. It is such a unique colour and is only available in select countries. I’m so jealous you got one. I would get that one in a heartbeat. The pink monoglam has such a gorgeous shimmer in the sun. Definitely special like your gold loop bag. The Métis I’m not keen on especially that colour. I would be worried abt colour transfer and also dirt marks showing up and being hard to maintain. Good luck with your decision and let us know what you decide. And besides, if you like the Métis you can always save up for it and get it later down the track.

I am exactly the same with light coloured bags! Unfortunately the fun for me wears down a bit once the first mark appears

What a tough question! I think for me the best solution would be to keep the Monoglam since it's a limited edition and buy the East West sometime later because it's a permanent piece but if that's not an option for you these are my two cents on both bags.

I think the pink Monoglam is stunning however the vachetta scares me much more then the white empreinte of the East West. Personally I don't buy bags with that much vachetta anymore because I'm just too nervous about getting it dirty or water marks. On the other hand I do have a cream empreinte bag for 1,5 years now which I frequently use (also with jeans and colorful clothing) and nothing has happened to it, still like new! I would say cream isn't as sensitive as people would think and it being empreinte makes it very carefree for me. Also I always prefer a flap bag over a zippered bag.

Well, if you don't want it, you can always ship it to me, no problem...no problem at all . Just kidding, I love the pink monoglam, I tried to get one but it's not available here. It's a very special bag. And you can always get a EW PM later down the road. While I do think the creme looks beautiful, I wouldn't buy this color myself. But that's just because I can be quite clumsy and I would be worried about color transfer, stains, dirt so that would take away the joy of the bag. And that's not what a bag is for, it should be functional but it should also give you joy. But at the end it's your call, go for the one that makes your heart sing, good luck with your decision !

If it were me, get both the pochette east west and pink monoglam AND sell the monoglam loop. I have the loop in 1854 (jacquard) and barely use it because of how little it carries. If I didnt want to sell anything, and wanted to only buy one, then the pochette east west.

The monoglam speedy is similar to your keepall 25 in style, and you already have a de speedy. You also already have a monoglam piece.

Pochette east west gives you variety.

With a smaller collection like yours, ask if you would rather have variety in look and function, or if you would rather have bags that you like, despite them being all similar.
