Currently I wear all my jewelry 24/7 (except watch) and it is all white gold and silver. Last year, my DH bought me a lovely diamond micropave band to add a little sparkle to my right hand. For several reasons I had to end up returning it (cheers to Costco for their awesome return policy!) and am now wanting something else for my right ring finger. It needs to be comfortable, durable, not dainty but not bold, and look good with the other pieces I wear on the right - a statement silver ring on my index finger and a Tiffany Hardwear microlink bracelet.

My dilemma - should I stick with the one metal color and sparkle and get something similar to the ring I returned? Or is this my opportunity to start mixing metals and get the small Cartier Juste en Clou ring in yellow gold? I’ve always loved the JUC ring and it has meaning to me as it was created in my birth year. I’ve also found some earrings in yellow gold that I like to add a bit more mixed metal to my everyday look.

Note, my personal preference for stones is that they be in white metal, so please no suggestions of a diamond ring in yellow gold as a “two-for-one” - lol! Pics below for reference of my hand, the ring I returned, and the JUC. Any thoughts, suggestions or experience appreciated - TIA!

I'd vote for diamonds over the Juc and I wear lots of Cartier daily. I have the small double wrap Juc ring in pave, and I wouldn't sleep in it. The Juc isn't so comfy I'd want it on 24/7, I wear it just when I'm leaving the house. I'd prefer diamonds over plain gold personally, brand isn't important between the 2 for me.

I have the small JUC ring and find it very comfortable but don’t wear it to bed bc it can snag on things. What about the Tiffany T Square ring (the chunkier version of the T Wire). Seems like that fits your aesthetic.

So, have you heard of that method of making a choice by flipping a coin? When you see the result, is your immediate gut instinct joy or disappointment? That’s how this poll has worked for me.

I do really appreciate your responses….but as I saw each vote for the diamond band, it kinda hurt my heart. And made me realize I really just want the JUC and so I ordered it! When it arrives, I’m going to be very scrupulous about ensuring it will work for me or otherwise it will go back.

Thank you!

Just to close out this thread, the JUC arrived today and I frickin' LOVE it! It is so much more comfortable than my previous diamond band, and I've been combing my hand through my hair and it's not snagging at all. Perfect size, not tight yet the nailhead prevents it from spinning. Thank you all for helping me with this decision...even if I went the opposite direction - lol :happydance:
