Hi Ladies, I need your help. I bought a navy fendi 2 jours. When I got it, I recall feeling like the color was not as rich navy as I was hoping...more dull and muted but the color is classic and goes w/ so much.

I also have a Givenchy Antigona in Aubergine. I love the color....but the style is a little more casual and trendy than I am looking for so I was going to sell her. I have had the auction on ebay end 3 times w/ no bids. Now I am wondering if I should keep her and sell the Fendi. The Fendi is the perfect style and the color is practical but doesn't make me weak in the knees. I do think I could wear her with everything though.

The Givenchy isn't my style so I wouldn't carry her much but she is very pretty and I am at the point where I am discounting her price far below what I initially wanted to and will be losing money so I am starting to wonder if I should even sell her.

I like practicality so being able to carry the bag regularly is a priority.

Here are pics for comparison...thoughts? Which would you keep? Which is more versatile? FYI, I like ladylike bags. I tried to capture the color the best I could in this photo.

Honestly it sounds like you aren't in love with either of these bags. Sell them both and get something you really love and will use! : )

It saddens me to hear that the Antigona isn't fetching a good price on ebay. She deserves more love than that.

Since it sounds like you could feasibly let go of either bag if a fair price came along, why not try listing the Fendi with quite a high starting price and see if there are any bites or at least a decent amount of watchers? Or - thinking aloud here - you could even do a buy it now at retail price, but set it to "will consider best offers" and see if anyone offers an acceptable price? That way you can gauge market interest in the Fendi and it's never a bad thing to have more market value info to assist in your decision making.

FWIW I think both are stunning, stunning bags. Agree you probaby don't need two muted classic totes though... Although that doesn't stop me from eyeing up the 2Jours while lamenting that I don't carry my Antigona enough.

I know, I thought she would get some more love on ebay.
She is practically new...only carried few times and someone had the nerve to send me a message offering me $550 saying they were a "serious buyer". are you freakin' kidding me? wow.

Ebay is crawling with lowballers these days, it's ridic. I would totally block that person.

But I guess another way to think about it is that you only need one "right" buyer in order to complete a great transaction for both sides. And if you keep listing at the price you're willing to sell, I'm sure the right buyer will come along eventually.

(Either that, or you know it's your destiny to keep the bag. )

I don't think the Antigona is a casual bag at all.....I find it strict-looking on the contrary.
I am not a fan of the Fendi( which I find much too "ladylike") either.
Both are great bags anyway.
If you cannot sell them without losing too much money, keep them, use them.
Lots of ladies would like to own one of those two bags.
Sometimes, when I feel like selling a bag, I say to myself " You are going to get rid of it whereas you are lucky to have it....."

I have to agree with Mariapia.

Both bags are lovely and I also do not find the antigona to be casual. However, you have to love it enough to use it.

Put them both up for sale and only sell if it is worth it. Its a buyer's market so its hard to move many bags nowadays.

Good luck!

I like the Fendi. Very classy and I think you mentioned your only concern is the color but not the style? As others have said, try to sell both and get something you like more but if I have to choose which one to keep, I'll keep the Fendi:smile1:

I agree with Mariapia. The Antigona isn't casual at all.
As Silversun says, keep listing at the price you want and make it clear that you're open to considering best offers. Good luck!

Wow, I wish I'd come across your listing! I shelled out some dough for my Aubergine Antigona and it's my absolute favorite bag right now!

I also have a Cherry 2jours and love it. Honestly, it sounds like the 2jours is the bag for you but you need a different color. Sell both bags and get your perfect 2jours. The purple one looks lovely. It really is a fantastic bag.
