Help me decide: Diane vs Pochette Métis Reverse

In my opinion, both Diane and Pochette Metis are way too expensive for a bag you dont love. I’d say either get that speedy, or dont get anything at all until you find that bag that has it all.

That said, I’m a flap bag lover so both bags are very attractive to me.

Get a smaller speedy then. In a different print or material. Don't buy a bag you're not 100% in love. These days, LV prices are too high, you gotta LOVE what you buy.

PS: I own the Pochette Metis in monogram. At first, I wasn't fond of it, but over time it grew on me and now it is always in my rotation. I also like speedy too and have multiple sizes.

Absolutely agree with this. I won‘t buy a bag, I am not 100% a fan of. Too expensive and usually also if I am not into a bag, I usually also won‘t use it. Just money ill spent.

I have the Métis reverse, it’s a pretty bag, holds more than I thought it would and it gets lots of compliments, is it a favorite bag of mine? No, I like a bag that securely zips closed, I find myself double checking that I closed the lock which is a pain that I have to keep rechecking myself.

The lock is an issue on the Pochette Metis because you need to have the bag full to close it. Otherwise it's very difficult to finagle.

I have the Diane and love it. I love the design and that it comes with two straps which really changes the look. It’s become my new favorite daily bag and fits my essentials. That said, if YOU aren’t really feeling it, I would definitely hold out for something else or ((gasp!!) check out a different brand!!

Do you find the flap tends to flip up on both sides? Or the length of the sportstrap is too long?

I have the empreinte and got it 2 months ago and its seen pretty much daily use. I have not noticed the flaps lifting. I think I read about that issue on the monogram but not sure.
I don’t find the length of the strap too long and I am 5ft tall. I currently only wear it over my shoulder bc I am very pregnant at the moment so it doesn’t even fit crossbody, so I can’t speak for that! But over one shoulder I am happy with the length!
