Help me decide: Caviar Mini versus CF Small

Which one to get/keep?

I just got a Black CF Small and now found a 17B navy Mini which was barely Used. Of course at a premium. Around 7500 USD.
It has all stickers. Full set but no receipt.

Would you get it? And should I let go of the other? Or my black lambskin M i rarely use?

In terms of being a household classic and basically heritage + being the black color, CF at this point in time will always hold its value better than pretty much any other Chanel bag.

Also, inside size-wise, they have basically the same amount of space.

Personally I would not get the 17B navy mini.

As for your black lambskin M, is that a classic flap as well?

I agree
The mini is very over priced and the small classic is a forever classic
But having said that… if you truly feel you will get the use from mini and you’re not really using the classic flap then maybe it’s worth letting go of one for the other.
If it was me personally I wouldn’t let go of the small flap … IMO is more gorgeous and more versatile in functionality and colour

I would have voted mini, but definitely not at a premium
i prefer a dark navy to black, and I am not personally fond of the small.

You are so lucky to have found the small CF. I cannot find a new one for the life of me! All thee are stunning. Is it terrible to say keep them all?!

@gazalia You have a lot of moving parts here. Based on your circumstances, I would pass on both.

I personally prefer the Mini over a Small CF, but not at that price. If the prices were pretty similar, I would still pick the Mini. The small would hold even less.

Were you searching for a navy bag, or just eager to get your hands on something?

The Medium CF is most versatile and holds about the same amount as a mini given the flap but it sounds like you don't use it. However, of all three options, this would be considered the most "Classic."

Is there something else that makes your heart sing? With Chanel's current retail pricing as well as pre-owned overpricing, I recommend not settling for something that you don't want 100%.
