Help me decide between two Max Mara coats?

Hi guys!

I am in Europe and thinking of buying a maxmara coat before I go back to the US. I’m not sure if the name of this one but it’s about $850. My goal is to elevate my look.

Three questions:

1) Is a Max Mara coat worth it? (Ie a good investment for the price tag).

2) If it is worth it, which color would you recommend I go for?




3) If I plan on losing a bit of weight (20 pounds) would that significantly affect the fit of this outerwear piece (ie do i wait?)

I think Max Mara coats are beautiful. I don’t have one since they’re too expensive for me. I really like the black one on you. It looks much sharper than the camel one.

I would think that since the coat is belted, it wouldn’t matter too much if you lost weight.

Both look great on, and I do think MM coats are worth it, esp if you're getting it in Europe as it's much cheaper than US. This is a classic style, great length and the belted waist is slimming. I like the navy on you more.

Max Mara coats are worth it! They are warm and luxurious. I have yet to own one but I have other Max Mara pieces. The navy looks great on you!

Beautiful! I love Max Mara coats but do not own one. I have recently found a site called The Curated, who make beautiful wool/cashmere coats at a fraction of the price. Also pure cashmere lined with silk and "Teddy" coats. I have a Teddy coat and I'm very happy with it. Getting back to the topic, I love the navy coat on you

I vote goes to the navy although I like both colors the navy looks like a better fit on you in this design. I would probably get the camel with buttons instead of the belted wrap style. I that think that color would look better on you than this style and give a neater appearance.
