Help Me Decide! Beige Bag.

Hi All - I am SO INDECISIVE. I need some help. I want to add a beige bag to my collection but am debating between the following, and would love thoughts/opinions. I am OK if this bag isn't something I wear every day, because in the "beige" category, I use the Coach Lana 23 in Ivory as an every day option (highly recommend if you haven't looked at this style - she's stunning).

I'd like to have something light and neutral for summer that goes with my summer footwear (attaching examples of those here as well).

- Bottega andiamo small in either Ecru or Butterscotch
- Chanel classic flap in beige clair
- Lady Dior small in either biscuit, sand or powder beige
- Celine Nino in Cappuccino

Last weekend in Laguna Beach, in a Cult Gaia “mumu” with matching Chanel platforms, then black leather pants, and a week before in Scottsdale!

They are all nice and go with the shoes but , I happen to find the lady dior heavy for its size. And, though I like bottega., it’s not all that easy for me personally to style. Re the top handle bags, I prefer Hermes. For many years, I’ve found beige Claire to be quite yellow, but this seems very neutral and versatile. I am however more a reissue person than a CF. Have fun deciding

Based on the designers you've shared, I would go with Chanel. I think its most classic and will stand the test of time.

I voted for the Chanel in beige clair—I think it’s the most versatile option you shared and a classic that will always stay in style. I have it and absolutely love it. I do agree with @880 that it pulls yellow; I’d prefer if it leaned a bit more beige. That said, the shade does vary slightly year to year, so you might be able to find one that’s more neutral. I also like the Celine from your list, but I think the logo might feel dated in a few years. It’s been so popular for a few years already that it’s starting to give me Gucci GG vibes.

Thank you. I agree re: Celine, and worry about that as well. I have a small black triomphe already, but feel that it is pretty classic looking at least in that color whereas the Nino might seem trendy.

Thanks! Since it wasn’t purchased at the store I’m not sure, EXCEPT my SA told me when I wore it in one time, that they rarely get them and they’re gone immediately. I guess I’ve never seen one in the stores I shop in now that I think about it.
Her comment did make me feel better about us bidding and winning!

I agree with the other posters that the Chanel is a great choice. It sounds like you are looking for something classic that can be dressed up or down, and the Chanel or the Dior fit that bill. Though in the light color, I would worry about the straps of the Dior getting dirty, and Dior's lambskin being less hardy than Chanel caviar. The Andiamo in a light color for sure would show wear quickly and I just don't think has the timeless vibe you are going for.

I don't know if you prefer new, but if it's hard to get a classic flap with gold combo, maybe consider a reissue or camera bag style or a glazed or metallic calfskin.

I purchased mine at the store last year. It was readily available and didn't seem like a big deal to find one.

You got lucky! Apparently Dallas doesn’t receive them often/or receive many.
May depend on the size.
