Hi everyone! I’m having some challenges making a final decision on my next bag In Azur print. Please help!

Going to the store to try in person is not possible as I’m a new cancer patient and currently have no immune system and it’s going to be a while before I circulate with the general public. This bag is going to be my reward for going through a huge surgery to address my cancer. My body handled it like a champ and I’m recovering well!

I currently have:
  • Graceful MM DE
  • Speedy B 25 DE
  • PSM
  • MPA with Khaki strap
I sold my Game On Speedy. While pretty it just wasn't going to work with my wardrobe :frown:

I love love love Azur so this will be the next print! I like easy and carefree to carry so must have shoulder/crossbody carry option.

On my radar for Azur print:
  • Noe BB
  • Another Speedy B 25
  • Neverfull or another Graceful

My Speedy B 25 is currently my most carried bag. I wear mostly shoulder or crossbody And it holds just the right amount of stuff. I love my Speedy but am conflicted about getting same bag in different print.

My Graceful is seldom carried because I haven’t needed to haul much with me on outings. This may change with chemo in my future.

Your opinions please on the Noe BB. How does it feel when worn crossbody? Does it stick out from the body more than the Speedy 25? I’d consider the Neonoe but it just looks too big for crossbody wear for my liking.

Neverfull. Do the straps ever fall off of the shoulder? I love the single strap of the Graceful but again conflicted about duplicating bag in different print and am open to Neverfull if both straps stay on the shoulder.

Any other pros/cons of the Noe and Neverfull?

Thank you for your help :hugs:

LittleStar88, first it is wonderful to hear that you are recovering well! I got to connect patients in treatment with services while volunteering with the ACS Cancer Resource Center, and these patients were among the most gracious and dignified people I’ve ever met. To respond to your question re the Neverfull, I’ve never had the straps fall off my shoulder. My most recent Neverfull is the DE with RB interior and it is absolutely gorgeous as well as functional regardless of whether carrying a lot or just the necessities677CA711-E2CA-465B-A486-E4E48C2590B0.jpeg. With a purse organizer/insert it is much easier to keep the light textile interior clean too. This insert is from Divide and Conquer on Etsy and is my favorite after trying a number of brands. Of course if you prefer the red interior it would be that much easier to maintain. Please let us know what you choose. Godspeed to you in your health journey!

Thank you! I’ve been so humbled by my experience and the caregivers have been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for your volunteer work:heart:

This is very helpful! Every tote I’ve ever had with two straps, one strap would always slide off of my shoulder. So it’s good to know the Neverfull doesn’t do this.

I am somewhat leaning towards Neverfull since it will allow me to carry more with easier access than the Graceful.

I had the Damier Azur Noe BB and ended up selling it. I sometimes have seller regrets but I think it's because it's a gorgeous bag and I did love the look - however, the vachetta is a lot for me personally. I constantly worried about where I am putting it down, checking the bottom every time I pick it up or bump into something etc. and it was stressful to my heart. When I think about the vachetta, my seller regrets go away. If you do not mind the vachetta, the Noe BB is great!

It's not so bad crossbody but it still stuck out a little bit (it's not as bulky and boxy as NeoNoe) and it was comfortable. I would still occasionally bump into things sometimes but overall, way better than NeoNoe crossbody. Hope this helps!

This helps a lot! Thank you! This will be my first venture into vachetta territory and you bring up a valid concern. I do wish the base wasn’t vachetta! I’ll think on this a bit:girlsigh:

I vote Noe BB ! such a cute bag in the azur print. You can always treat the vachetta if you are worried about staining etc... You can also add a top handle to carry it like a top handle bag. I have a monogram version at it seriously is one of my favourites and the top handle was a game changer. I guess the only thing with azur would be the fact that as the BB is originally a crossbody bag you would need to be careful with colour transfer to the azur print.

Thank you! I was reading up on treating vachetta (or not) and not sure if I am comfortable with doing it in the event I make a mistake and ruin it somehow. I’m afraid of making an expensive mistake:doh:

I‘ve read that alcohol-free, unscented baby wipes are a good choice to wipe down the canvas. Does that help to remove some color transfer? This would be a summer bag that I will carry with light colored clothing so hoping for that to be a minimal concern.

I would not let having two bags of the same style but in different prints deter you from getting a bag that works for you. If you check out some of the clubhouse threads you will see that many people who love a style have it in many different prints. I have the Speedy B 30 in monogram and DE. I also have the Neverfull in DE and would not hesitate to buy another print if I wanted it. Personally, I think the Speedy B 25 in azur is adorable. I do not have a Noe BB, but I did have the Petit Noe at one time. Even though I am not afraid of vachetta leather, having all of it on the bottom of the bag was stressful, lol.

Congratulations on your successful surgery! Hope you continue to do well.

I completely understand and yes I think baby wipes can remove some transfer as long as cleaned pretty much straight away. I dont think you will have a problem with summer clothes, its really dark denim mostly that's an issue. I have a Speedy 30 in Azur myself and have no transfer at all. I also agree with cbarrus, speedy b 25 would be another great choice, I just think that the noe bb in Azur is less common and the noe shape is slightly more girly so perfect for summer

I would go for the speedy 25b. I have the speedy 25b in all three prints.

Thank you

I slept on it and when I don’t think too hard on the choice, my mind goes to Speedy B 25. Ever since I got my DE it’s been my #1. So it seems this will be the best choice. I daydream about it in DA a lot!

Darn LV and all of their cute bags! I can always get the others down the road :coolio:

@LittleStar88 Sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis but I am glad that your surgery went well :flowers: As for the purse choices, why don't you wait for new Azur releases? I think foyxlv posted some new Azur bags that will be coming in summer I think?

I saw them:love: but the speedy is a 30 (too big for me) and the strap is not adjustable. The Neverfull has a strap that I wouldn’t use. And Neo Noe is bigger than I’d prefer. If there was a Speedy 25 I would probably go for it and just buy an adjustable strap.

I still Have time before I’ll make my purchase, so hopefully there will be more that weren’t shown!

I sure hope you find something you love :graucho: While you're still deciding, I just wanna say I use my Graceful PM as a crossbody. It's a good size and nothing too heavy. So if you did want another Graceful and you like crossbody bags (I love crossbodies!!), this could be an option if you don't find it too silly to add a long strap to convert it.

I do like that idea but for my height the PM is a little small for shoulder carry, which would mean it would have to be crossbody only:doh:
