Hi!

I’m having a hard time deciding my first rolex!

Mother of pearl, pink or pink mother of pearl? (My local store does not have pink mother of pearl in stock) and I’m afraid if I order one it won’t be as pink?

Isure would take a hard look at the MOP they show you - mine had the pink showing only at very rare angles it mostly looked white just FYI. Good luck and have fun with your choices!

I'd say it really depends on your age. If you are in young 30s or looking for a fun piece of jewelry than go for pink mother of pearl. I have pink mother of pearl from Cartier and I really love it. It's feminine and can be dressed up or down. If you are in 40s and are thinking about it as an investment piece than go for the white mother of pearl. Of course you can wear pink mother of pearl no matter how old you are but I think the pink color is more for 20s and 30s and not as "dignified" for those in 60s and older.

I love the white mother of pearl with the diamond dials! I thought about getting it, but finally went with the black with diamonds face. I loved the sporty chic look and it was a change from my other one that is a super femenine mixed rose gold and steel with pink dial
