Hi, not sure if this helps you, but I took a comparison picture on friday as I was debating between these two bags and the small Lou camera bag as well. I chose the medium Lou camera bag, but the Loulou is lovely too! I would say they hold the same amount of items. I already have the medium Loulou so I rather chose a different bag style.
Between the 2 bags I like the small loulou because ... 1) it can be dressier, 2) I like the chains--the way they look, the feeling and sounds they make when I pull them through, 3) I prefer a shoulder bag--but the ability to use it crossbody is super handy as I have a toddler, 4) I really love the small loulou so much I want it in another color!
Regarding the lou camera bag, I am not too interested in it because 1) I find tassels fussy, 2) pretty sure my cat would love the tassel and would try to maul it (and me!) while I was wearing it or if I accidentally left it out 3) there are other camera bags out there and since it is a more casual bag I would rather have a cheaper camera bag with another brand and put the difference to a fancier bag.

Hi again! So the PM is out of the running?! I would definitely agree with that decision! As we discussed in your previous thread, I have both of these bags, and while I love both, if I could only keep one, it would be the small loulou. The camera bag is amazing, but the loulou is a bit more elevated, in terms of elegance and versatility.

I didn't get the camera bag because I have the Gucci Disco (which is very functional and easy to use!). However, even if I don't have the Gucci Disco, I'd still choose the small loulou over the camera bag. I agree with @nycgirl79 - it's just more elegant and versatile. I love my loulou.

All camera bags are susceptible to puckering at top since this handbag style gets semi crushed by our arm. I think the exception is the mini Lou since it’s a bit more structured than the Lou camera bag, yet is is smaller.
