This is my first post in the Jewelry Box. I am hoping you guys can help me.

I am thinking of buying a pair of sterling silver earrings from David Yurman.

Need your help on choosing one from 3 different pairs. Here are the links:

1). http://www.davidyurman.com/shoponline/product.aspx?itemId=Y09SU&folderid=/women/earrings

2). http://www.davidyurman.com/shoponline/product.aspx?itemId=Y09SB&folderid=/women/earrings

3). http://www.davidyurman.com/shoponline/product.aspx?itemId=Y09SC&folderid=/women/earrings

Does anyone here own any of these earrings? Are you happy with them, any regrets? How is the quality of DY sterling silver items in general? Do they tarnish very quickly?

Please help me choose! Thanks!

I think I like the third pair the best. I don't own any DY, but I know that it is supposed to be very nice quality. Last month I was eyeing a necklace that some celebrity was wearing that was DY.

I like the first pair.
I have a pair of the 14k/sterling spiral earrings with blue topaz. I love them! I think they are very good quality and I am pleased with them.

I own the 2nd pair.... love them! they were bigger than expected though when i got them (bf bought from vegas store)... but they look great with my hair up

as for how fast they tarnish.. im pretty sure all silver is the same.... however it's not like the tiffanys silver stuff.... DY has more of an antique look to them.. so they are meant to look a bit tarnished anyways. As for quality.. I havent had any issues with them, but I do have to say that it is much lighter than it looks (which is great I guess because you'll be wearing them on your ear all day). Good luck w/ choosing a pair!

lol--you're getting a variety of opinions! I like the first best.

I really like David Yurman the company. One time I lost one DY earring that was a fish-hook back and it had a stone in it. They were $1,200 earrings, so I was going crazy--I coudn't wear just one!

I went back to the store where I bought them and they said they could send it back to David Yurman and they'd come up with another earring to match the one I still had. They did--I was so happy! I had to pay $600 for it, but at least I ended up with a pair!

And of course the week I got my new pair back I found the one I had lost. Now I have 3.

I've also had to send things back for repairs and they are good at that.
