Help me choose which color!?

So I'm going to jump on a large phoebe on sale. I was deciding between rouge, peach rose, and scarlet. Haven't seen any irl but kind of decided rouge probably isn't the color for me. Then today went to Dillard's and they had the large chestnut (I believe?) and it was beautiful also. Which would you guys go with? I LOVE pink, the red looks beautiful- I'm not afraid of color. The brown was beautiful and would match everything and be a classic but wonder if it's too boring or old looking. Sorry for the long story, but help! :) TIA

Look at your collection... Do you have too many of one certain color???
Rouge is a muted almost faded looking Mauve
Peach Rose is a very light pink color - almost flesh tone.
Scarlet is a nice Red -- more of a blue tone.


I would say go for Scarlet!!!!

Don't be afraid of red...you'll be surprised at how much a neutral it can be. Having said that...the other colors you mentioned are very nice too. The chestnut is a gorgeous color...sometimes it's hard to step out of our comfort zone, isn't it? Sorry I wasn't any help. ;)

i have the black violet and rouge...and love both- but agree that if you are leaning toward a more "classic" color (chestnut) that I would purchase the scarlet from the FOS. It is truly a deep, saturated, gorgeous color that you will certainly use as a "neutral"....

I would vote scarlet! I have used my scarlet one a lot ... I'm amazed at how well it goes with so many things. I also have the peach rose, and I actually bought it recently with winter in mind - I loved the slightly glow-y pale pinky peach and thought it would look beautiful with greys and darker colors in the winter. I do think the chestnut is gorgeous too - it's just not my favorite shade of brown. (I like the legacy saddle color from last fall - more chocolate-y). Good luck with your decision! It's hard to decide!

There's a pic of all of mine in the Phoebe thread in the clubhouse - as you can see I couldn't settle on just one color in the year+ since they've been making them! :p

I don't have a large collection so nothing to base on that. I love them all. The scarlet does look nice. thanks! :)

I actually almost always go for color (usually pink?) when looking for bags, so maybe that's why the chestnut is so beautiful but feels a bit blah/older to me?

Acck, I am no help I have 4. But, I do have the Chestnut a Classic all year and I did get the Scarlett at the Outlet. I was not sure of Red at first, but I love it now with a Blue Striped Top and white Jeans. Go Red!

I recently went on a phoebe binge. You can't go wrong with rouge or peach rose. Chestnut is classic though and can be used all year round. And Scarlett... I love red bags. You'll win either way.
