I’m getting conflicting info from everyone. I’m looking to find a new cardholder since I’ve had my LV coin purse for 5 years now and it’s time for a change. I don’t really use cash much but I do carry a $20 “just in case”.

I’m looking for an everyday card holder that can fit in all sizes of bags including small crossbodys and can’t decide between these two. Added a poll to help with the decision. Thanks!

I have this cardholder in blue caviar leather, which is very durable and holds a good number of cards and some cash. However, as @Grande Latte mentioned, it does stretch out over time, and if I only put one card now, it'd slip out. I don’t mind this much since I usually carry multiple cards. That said, I originally got this cardholder to pair with my small bags, but I rarely end up using it for that purpose. It still takes up space, and many small bags, like WOCs, have built-in card slots, so I find it more convenient to put cards directly into those to save space. To me the one with the flap looks cuter.

If you carry quite often small bags, like the classic flap small or medium, go for the flat one. The flap is cute but it is basically taking space without use, so take it only if you use big enough bags

A flat card holder with 3-4 slots on each size is best!

I have the flap cardholder (the one on the right) and it's nice but it is definitely bulky. I don't use it with my smaller bags as it takes up too much space. Maybe get the one with the flap for your larger bags and get a less expensive flat cardholder from somewhere else?

I have both. The flat cardholder is great if you tend to use small bags like the mini flap. The classic cardholder with flap is not great for small bags as it takes up most of the space available. But, I like the look of the classic cardholder so use it often.
