Hi fellow TPFrs!! It's been a min since I've posted. I'm currently debating the by the pool speedy 20 or Liv. I think the print on speedy is darling, but I'm sending guessing almost $3000 for a bag that might be hard to match w things. I like the classic look of liv, but almost $2000 on such a small bag, is it worth the price tag.
Help me choose please. Pool Speedy or Liv

It depends what you need the bag for. They both serve very different purpose. It will also depend on the rest of your bag collection and how this bag fits. This speedy, IMO, is really a summer bag that will match well with summer dresses etc., if that’s your jam. The other bag can hold little but do it all - from errands to evenings. Alas..all prices have gone up and unfortunately will keep going north. If you like something, then go for it.

I think the by the pool is loud and will possibly wear on you. I know these things are trendy but for me, I liken it to buying a yellow car, it’s real cute now but can it go the distance? Also this stuff is NOT cheap, I think the pool stuff is gonna be on Fashionphile very quickly.
Agreed…and LV needs to be more creative than just print a big LV logo in the centre of their most bags!
I also agree that the two bags serve very different purposes! At first glance i personally would lean towards the speedy bc it’s trendy and in season, but for longevity of use deff the Liv. Hope that helps!
I think by the pool in coral is beautiful. But Ive had other LV bags over the years that were colorful and over time I grew tired of using them. Felt they were too loud in certain instances. Now I buy more basic colors for the bag and add a colorful lv scarf tied in a double bow on one side and a bag charm on the other side. Then Im not locked into one pattern and I can mix things up as I want.
