I cant decide on a bag I want as a grad gift from my boyfriend. I want a black leather bag with gold or brass HW. I would like to keep it at $500...$600 is the max.

I was set on the Dooney bag below..but if you look at the side view of the bag (only shown in the brown color) , there is a nylon type strip of fabric that ruins the look of this nice leather bag..UGH!!!!

So I finaly found another bag I like, this tory burch bag. I have never purchased anything from this brand and dont know anyone who has. How are Tory Burch leather bags? Are they made well? I am NOT into buying $500 bags that will not hold up.

TIA! Other suggestions welcome!

I like the TB purse a lot. Not a fan of the D&B, but I don't usually like their bags anyway.

I also don't own any TB bags, so I cannot comment on their use unfortunately.

If you're going to be spending $500-$600 you might want to consider getting a pre-loved bag thats worth $2,000. I recently got my Gucci 85th Anniversary Bag for $615 plus tax. If you want a Tory Burch you can also get a pre-loved bag in excellent condition for half that. I would take a peek at www.fashionphile.com

I wouldnt spend that much on a D&B bag unless it was Dolce and Gabbana =)

I did go ahead at look at fashionphile but nothing there that I would look at is close to my price range. If im going to buy a TB I would rather buy it new since it is my grad gift and all. I did look throught ebay and any TB bags I likes are maybe $40 cheaper NWT so def not worth the worry buying from ebay.

LOL wouldnt that be D&G? Anyways I was 100% set on the D&B bag until I saw the non leather strip at the side of the bag. Now im just trying to decide between these two...

I really like the TB bag you have chosen:yes: I have owned a few TB leather bags and found them very durable with great craftsmanship and nice materials used. I love my red Edye so much and have been carrying it quite a bit lately. Congrats also on your upcomming graduation:flowers:
