Hello! I’m looking to buy my first Lady Dior as a spring/summer bag. I wear a lot of pink, red, green, and beige so was thinking about either the white or light beige colour in calfskin. Would anyone be able to comment on the durability of the bag in either colour and the colour transfer risk? I’m also wondering which would be more versatile

To be honest, either work. They are both beautiful classic colors that can go with pretty much anything.

Do you have any white or beige bags currently? If so, which one do you reach for more?

Are you concerned about the white getting dirty easily? Perhaps the beige will give you (a little) more peace of mind. (it's still on the light side).

I had the same dilemma and went with white! No regrets I do wear more of a neutral wardrobe and wanted the white to pop! I only wear it with whites and light linen tops so no color transfer so far. You can always wear it top handle when wearing dark clothes to avoid color transfer
Thank you! How has the white been wearing over time? Is the leather delicate and does it show marks very easily ?

I'd go for the light beige! :)

Be ready for the inevitable scratches though because lambskin is very delicate. Mine got scratched on the corners 2 weeks after I bought it. I don't regret it though because I don't intend to keep my bag in the shelf anyway. I want to enjoy it and not carry it like a baby everywhere. I have the dior saddle and a ysl sunset in grained calfskin and both require little care tbh. So if you want to walk around a little carefree, I'd pick the beige one.

I'd go see it in person and see which one you fall in love with. Eventually, all bag collections needs both colors :) so you'll probably end up getting another bag in the color you didn't choose. I was choosing beige or grey for the abcdior...I ended up getting a beige chanel cocohandle and a grey my abcdior. :)

Due to concerns of color transfer, I'd probably get the beige for the abcdior. Especially if you're planning on wearing it crossbody and with red, green or pigmented color clothes.
