Help me choose! I am resetting my diamond;)

My 13th anniversary is coming and have decided to have my 1 ct diamond reset. My current setting is yellow gold with four diamonds on each side and the main stone in the middle. I am trying to decide between these two::

I like the 1st one more than the 2nd

Oooh. Tough choice, both are wonderful. I am slightly more partial to the second one, it is very striking on your hand, in fact it looks gorgeous! Would love to know what you decide on.

I think the first one has a more modern feel. If you are more vintage loving, then i would go with the second. Either way you can't go wrong.

Do me a favor...when you go back if you could take a pic of the first ring, straight on. The one you have posted is more of a side view. I'd like to see how the center stone sits in the setting.
