Help me choose first YSL or Celine bag :)

I've never dabbled into YSL or Celine before but now I think I'm ready to purchase one of them beauties!!
I can't decide between the YSL medium college or the Celine classic box. I like the chain detail on the YSL college and the fact that I won't have to baby the bag but I also like how the Celine box looks so simple and understated...
Help me decide, let me know your thoughts on these bags. And if you are owners of these handbags let me know if you still love them or if you regret getting them?111.jpg 1111.jpg

I'd go with the Celine. I love the YSL too but I feel like it doesn't need the top handle option, make sure you post what you get when you get it :)

Both are such great choices, I'd have a hard time too! I think the Celine is more timeless. The YSL is gorgeous but I do think there is a chance it may appear dated some years down the road.

style wise i prefer celine, but as an owner i must say it is not a bag i feel free to fill. if i carry too much for a period of time, the sides of the top flap will bend due to the weight carry by the strap. but i got the older version, i think the newer version have thicker leather

I have the YSL medium College and love it. I don't know much about the Celine. The College attracted me, and have found it to work well with jeans or dressy. The handle does come in handy when you want to grab quickly and don't have time to sling on your shoulder. Most of my bags now have a handle and shoulder strap so this must just be my preference. I have the prune color, which is neutral enough. Except when I rarely might wear IMG_1880.jpg red!

I love Celine bags (and have several) but IMO the box leather shows scratches quite easily. If you look at display bags, they look handled to me. That has been my main hesitation to buy one. The style is great. I think the YSL is very nice. Love the diagonal quilting (a bit ala Chanel).
