I also need help deciding which Selma to get rid of... Thinking I want to get a Jet Set Tote in its place... And just wanting to switch things up a little & have funds to purchase something new.

I like the LG Black, LG Luggage and Med. Navy all for different reasons but absolutely do not feel like I NEED all three. The Luggage & Navy probably get used less than the Black. Plus which ever I get rid of I can get that color in the Jet Set.

Which Selma would you give the boot to? Why?

Which color Jet Set Tote do you like best?

Also pondering letting my Aqua wallet go too because I rarely switch my wallets out... 😜

I hate to say get rid of because they're all gorgeous, however, that being said luggage is MKs signature color and will be in his rotation all the time so if you decided to get rid of that one you could always find another one like it. As for the jet set? Are you looking for a season specific color? I saw so,some carrying it in heritage blue and it was gorgeous!

I never use navy handbags... I don't know why... just never buy or use them. Sounds like you don't use that one as much either~

I recently saw the jetset in sun and was gorgeous! How about finding one in Mandarin?

Black, navy, and luggage are MK's standard neutrals for all bags. Black and navy are his standard dark neutrals. I wouldn't keep both. Since you use your black Selma the most, I'd keep the black and luggage ones and sell your navy one. Then I'd purchase the jet set tote in navy since you seem to want to keep that color in your collection. I would also sell your aqua wallet. Like you, I don't switch out my wallets (too much trouble) and like that your dark dune and claret wallets match two of your other bags. The aqua does not. :smile1:

I sort of agreed with ubo22 but looking at some of the photos, I noticed you have 1 black Large Selma, 1 black Selma Messenger and 1 black Hamilton. To me, that's too many black bags? What do you think? These are hard decision as you have such lovely collection!!

I am too lazy for wallet swapping. I always end up returning just about every single one I buy, doesn't matter how cheap or cute it was at the time of purchase. I have used the same LV zippy wallet for about 3 or 4 years. It was a gift. When it eventually gets ratty (LV falls apart with too much use just like any other brand, high or low), I'll get something new. Yesterday I bought a large Guccisima sukey in chocolate brown and of course here she comes with that wallet garbage. No thanks. Plus wallets prices are rediculous, I rather put that towards a new bag.

I would get rid of black because you have so many black bags. As far as jet set, get a bright color because you have neutrals covered. I have mandarin and love it! Come visit the jet set zip top tote thread for inspiration on colors!!

I also think I have a lot of black :P But each time I try to even think about parting with one of those I realize that I do use those the most and they truly do go with anything you wear. I just love the look and versatility of black. You can dress it up or down and it stays spot free and clean so no need to baby it ❤️

I'm wearing the Navy Selma and Aqua wallet today just to see if I'm still in love with them :P

I've also decided to go to a store he next chance I get that has both the Luggage and Navy Jet Set totes and see which I prefer in person to see if that helps. I like the looks of the Navy but personally have a lot more black than navy in my wardrobe and keep thinking the Luggage will look nicer with black or any other color I decide to wear and end up being more versatile.

So *as of this moment* I'm thinking get ride of the Luggage and get a Jet Set Tote in that color. Keep the Black Selma for sure and hang on to Navy a little while longer. It is a good size Selma and the only one I have of that size ;)

Sound logical?? 😜

I got a Grape Jet Set Tote with SHW, would a new purple be able to replace a black?
I think that Grape Jet Set Tote was heavily discounted at NM a couple of days ago but not sure if it's gone!?

Just double checked NM online! the Grape Jet Set Tote is gone but there is still Heritage Blue and a Red. I think the Blue is quite nice and bright! It's discount by about $100.

OR....

I could get rid of LG BLK Selma, Med. Navy Selma and LG Luggage Selma... And get a LG Navy Selma and the Jet Set Tote in Luggage.

My concerns with that though are the LG Selma that I use the most will now be in Navy... Which I do like... But how will that look with the majority of black clothes?

Ughhhh.... I've thought about this waaay too much lol!!

I was going to say get rid of the black Selma since I see that you got your black ns Hamilton and a black messenger. But, you seem to really love your black bags. So, I would probably sell the black medium navy and the aqua wallet. I also don't buy more than one wallet. It's too much trouble transferring all my things......:smile1:

I personally wouldn't get rid of the black selma. I agree with you that black goes with everything and it stays clean longer you don't have to worry about color transfer. It's way easier to maintain than the other colors in my opinion.

I believe you received luggage selma for Christmas. If you are already debating on letting her go then i'd probably give her the boot. If you want a jet set tote I'd say go for a bright color for spring/summer.
