Hello board! I am trying to decided between the Luxe Ella in Moon Rock (the snake print) or Maise in Fresh Air. The Luxe Ella was on sale at my local store, so I bought it but I am not 100% sure. I love the color of the Maise.

Both are essentially the same price considering the Luxe was on sale, then promo.

The snake is so chic, but the leather does feel a tad plasticky. And the blue is breathtaking.

What would you do, board?

I'm looking at the Luxe Ella myself, so that's the one I'd choose. :D Can you tell me whether the short strap will fit easily on the shoulder? I'm not a fan of the long strap but I do want a shoulder bag.

Good luck deciding!! Sounds like you are leaning to the blue one!

To me it doesn't seem like it would. Its more decorative and it cannot be removed. The long strap is not ideal for crossbody. It is pretty structured really. The leather is puzzling as it seems a little plasticy? I cannot figure out why it would have been 600 some dollars at full price. For what? Cute for 300 though.

maise for sure. the fresh air is gorgeous,i have it in mint mojito and its my absolute favourite bag. i would buy it again in fresh air but i already have two bags in robins egg and giverny blue, almost the exact same colours :$

I ordered the pebbled leather Luxe Ella, not the python...so I expect the leather will be soft and smushy. If I can't use the short strap on my shoulder I will cut it off. :D I don't want it just hanging around in the way!! Thanks.

Sounds like you have decided to get Maise!

Does the strap fit over your shoulder? I've been eyeing the luxe Ella.

I have the Cobble Hill Luxe Ella in Warm Cognac and its gorgeous! The Luxe Ella in Moon Rock is much larger than the Maise in case that was a deal breaker. The small Ella's might be more the same size as the Maise. The shorter strap on the larger Ella does fit over your shoulder because with it filled it tends to slouch a little bit.
