Hi! I’m looking to purchase a pink bag, and have narrowed it down to these two. They are the same price. I’m looking for a versatile, timeless piece that is still fun and can do day to night! I’m torn between these two!

Normally I'd prob. prefer Ferragamo than LV, but I think this cute, cool, BB Alma is more timeless than the patent ombre. It's easier to style a single colour than something that always begs for 'top=billing'. Epi is so practical even in a light colour, and the Alma is a classic, the BB size very 'now'. It can do cute and fun or do serious, grown-up glamour. I can see you'd get lots of wear.

I'm not convinced an ombre bag is timeless. Also I can't tell what the finish is of the Ferragamo: Is it normal calfskin, or patent? If patent, that's definitely not as versatile. I love the LV Alma BB but not this particular shade of pink, sadly. If you do, that's the better choice IMO.

Overall I find the ferragamo bag to be much more unique and fun (was actually just looking at this bag online yesterday lol). I have a light pink alma bb in different leather and it's cute but on the small side. I also have a light pink epi leather Cluny and while it's pretty, I don't find myself reaching for it nearly as often as I do other pink bags. I think you need to prioritize whether you really care more about fun or timeless. I love the Iconic, it's vibrant and will always provide a pop of color but obviously not as versatile as a solid pale pink that can almost be viewed as a neutral. That being said, I do think you can style the Ferragamo with more than you may originally think.

ETA: I have several LV bags and am not really impressed with the quality. I only have a few Ferragamo bags but haven't used them enough to really test the quality, though I've always heard good things.
