Help me choose an Ophidia bag!

I'm torn between these two styles - I love a top handle feature (added bonus is that is has a crossbody strap) but I also love this newer flap crossbody style as it reminds me of the LV pochette metis which is another bag I live in year round. I appreciate everyone's opinions!

Out of the two, I like the top handle better. I personally like top handles more in general because they look more elegant to me. The only issue is the weight of carrying it and it getting in the way. But since it has a crossbody option, it should work just fine. I'd say top handle for more formal outings, and crossbody for more casual outings. If you already have a similar bag, I would definitely try something new unless you're really in love with that type of style!

hahaha right?!?! I am leaning TH for sure. But I am SO legitimately torn.

Th because you already have pochette Métis and this Gucci is too similar and reminds you of the pm. They would serve the same purpose. The th is a different look. Best of luck deciding. There’s no wrong decision

I love like the look of the crossbody and tried this one on in the boutique several weeks ago. I was looking for an older Ophidia flap bag, with the expectation that it would serve the same use as the Pochette Metis. They had already retired the style I wanted in exchange for this newer one. I found it to be a good size and very comfortable to wear. However, I couldn't get past the zipper under the flap. Is it a flap bag? Is it a camera bag? Is it both? I know myself well enough to know that double enclosure would drive me crazy! I declined purchasing it and ended up finding the one that I wanted at another retailer.

Aesthetically, you can't go wrong with either. They're both beautiful, and @papertiger is right--they make a great pair! It sounds like the top handle one gives you more options for wear that you like.

I just purchased the crossbody bag with the 2 straps to replace my LV Pochette Metis. I love it! It’s slightly smaller and not as boxy as the PM. It is so cute & casual. I use the regular strap for everyday & the flashy strap for fancier occasions. The zipper under the flap did make me pause but I got over that. It fits all essentials and is the perfect size. So cute & easy to wear. My only wish is that Gucci offered crossbody bags with back pockets for my phone.
