Im in my 30s and work at a place where it’s conservative. I want to wear the watch everyday that is also chic.

I can’t decide between 1- steel and white gold in 31 or 2- two tone in 28

The steel looked better in the bigger size.

Thanks!

Do you mainly wear silver jewelry or a combo of gold and silver? Especially in rings. If you wear any gold I would pick the two tone. As a standalone I tend to prefer the silver look.

My wedding ring is Tiffany’s 1.7ct platinum. I don’t own any gold jewelry. I’m looking for something that looks chic and nice for everyday including simple work dresses.

Oh perfect! I have a silver wedding ring too and wear a straight silver watch. I personally think it looks nicer than introducing gold into the mix. The two tone does give you options for gold jewelry down the line though.

Just a mention, the silver dial may get harder to read years down the line if you plan to keep it into the years where one's eyes et worse, like mine, LOL. Had to sell a gold dial President as I couldn't read the time LOL! Silver dial will happen similarly. But looks like you have plenty of time before that happens

Edit - I prefer the TT of these two, if I was to only have one Rolex

I love both but as someone else mentioned, if there’s any chance you want to wear gold down the line I’d get the two tone. A watch is so substantial that I struggle to wear any gold jewelry with my watches since I don’t have any that have gold in them.

That said, I have a 26mm steel+WG and absolutely love it. I won’t wear rolexes at clients but it’s my favorite watch I own. The look is so understated and classic.

I didn't own any gold jewelry (except for DY two tone bracelets and rings) until very recently. I started with some Cartier trinity pieces and just purchased a gold DBTY necklace. I also bought some Hermes enamels and leather bracelets with gold hardware. The two tone is a safer bet if you think you may want to wear gold later. My e-ring is platinum, but it goes well with the mixed pieces.
