I know I love all things halos and I'm excited to work with David Klass. But I'm not sure if I would like a cushion or round stone? Which ring appeals to you more?

Thank you so much for your help!

t’s a bigger problem if, in a decade, either of you looks down at your engagement ring and asks, “What were we thinking?” The truth is, as much as fashions change, so do our sensibilities and tastes. It may also be the case that the big diamond or extreme setting you choose now doesn’t work for a lifestyle you might not even have yet. Have you thought about what the mere act of, say, changing diapers might mean when wearing a chunky, complicated ring?

Definitely try both shapes on & see which looks better on you! I love rounds as solitaires but for some reason prefer the cushion shape in a halo... whatever you decide I'm sure your Davis Klass project will come out beautiful & can't wait to see!

Thank you so much! I think cushion is really where my heart lies. They tend to face up smaller, but with the halo it will be great. I would like to buy the diamond from James Allen, I'm leaning towards this one: https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/cushion-cut/1.20-carat-f-color-vs1-clarity-sku-75419

My boyfriend is a jokester, he was looking through David Klass rings and is like "just get this ring". Um, noooo, too exciting and a little scary for me, hahaha:

They do face up smaller... another option is a center round brilliant in a cushion shaped halo.

Cute!
Both are gorgeous! A round will sparkle more just because of the way it's cut/facets. I think this stone is a bit deep so will look smaller. I tried to find
AME's cheat sheet which is very helpful as a guide when buying online. You may want to PM AME.
