So my husband's birthday is coming up soon and I really want to buy him a hublot because he loves the brand but doesn't have one yet.

It's come down to these two pieces:

1. Big Bang Unico King Power (only 500 pieces worldwide)

2. Big Bang All Black II

Please help me choose!! All I know is that he loves everything black, but that's it. Which one's manlier? More prestigious? and if you have any other suggestions please let me know!! <3

I prefer the second option because I think the white markers brighten up the face and the contrast makes the watch stand out more. Maybe it's clearer in real life, but on the all black version everything just seems to get a bit lost. KWIM?

That said, the all black is perhaps more masculine and if you value prestige above all else perhaps the limited addition version would appeal to you both more.

Do you have a preference between the two?

I like the first one a lot more. it's more subtle, refined, manly? the second one is too busy with all the white, imo. plus limited edition is always a bonus for prestige!

I really appreciate your opinions guys!!
*mewt, the first one is more subtle, but much bigger! which is the only thing putting me off a little bit as it's quite heavy. still trying to figure it out tho!

he's a man! he can take it. ;D well you know him best. but if his wrist is bigger than yours it shouldn't be a problem! also, don't they have return policies? if anything just give him the option of exchanging for the other one, if he finds it too heavy? I just really prefer the look of the first one! it's quite different.

Yes! I just called them and they said i'd be able to exchange it within 48 hours of buying it...i actually never considered his wrist size!! lol i guess i'll have to be sneaky and compare when i see him haha

Omega's latest PO limited edition was limited to 1948 pieces. They also had a Bond Seamaster limited to 10,007 and a Quantum of Solace limited to 5007 pieces. Audemars Piguet has some versions of the ROO limited to 1500. So, 500 is a nice small limit.

Please get the 1st one...it's limited edition. My cousin was searching for a limited edition Panerai with a chinese character, "Fook" on it, apparently there's only 500 units specially for Asia and it's all sold out. 500 is definitely a small number.
