Hello wonderful people of purse forum :salute:!
I am in desperate need to some advice and help on choosing a special 20th birthday bag.

Some info about me to help:5ft, Lots of back problems, £1100 budget, lives in London, owns a Monogram LV Speedy 30 and Black soft leather Prada cross body.

I have been looking at:
Givenchy Antigona in Mini, Small and Medium.
Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM/GM
Louis Vuitton Bosphore Backpack
Louis Vuitton Pochette metis and metis.
Louis Vuitton in Portobello GM, Sully MM and Delightful MM.
Mulberry Cara Mini/Medium Backpack.

This is all I have been lusting over so far. I do have problems with my spine and have only found out this month so that may eliminate a lot of bags :(.

All advice, help and suggestion will be so appreciated :smile1:

Thank you for reading.

If you have back problems, I would consider any bag you can wear crossbody...kind of shifts the bag's weight. I think the LV Metis pochette would look adorable on you, nice size for someone 5'. I have the regular Metis and it's a bit heavy and big and I'm 5'10". I bet you could wear the pochette crossbody, too!
All your choices are fabulous...good luck!

Antigona is quite heavy. I hardly carry my Antigona because if the weight. Probably not a good idea since u have back problem. LV bags in treated canvas are usually light. There are a lot of light bags from other brand as well but since u have been eyeing a lot of LV Bags, I suggest LV in smaller size so u won't get tempted to carry too much. U are privileged to own designer bag at 20! Have fun with any of the bag u choose. [emoji6]

Take a look at the Balenciaga Town and Velo models, especially in the regular hardware (vs. the "giant" hardware). These are really lightweight crossbody bags. Town is small to medium size, Velo is large capacity.

Actually with back problem, I'd recommend you to choose a light weight handheld option. I also think the bag should be medium size so you won't carry too much and the bag still have space for everyday stuff.

Balenciaga city is light. It's made of all leather and very edgy.

Are there any Issey Miyake available there? Their Bao Bao line offer a variety of light weight stuff and it look nice too.

I think the lv Metis pochette is perfect for you
you can carry it on one side, hand held and cross body and it doesn't weigh and the size is good to prevent you carry too much stuff esp if you have back problem.
I'm 5'4" and I can wear it cross body with no problem

Agreed. And you can carry them by hand/arm or crossbody.

I would recommend the Givenchy antigona or a Balenciaga, as suggested !

Bals are very light so that's good for your back. I have the medium Givenchy antigona and it's not that light, so maybe the mini would be a good option.
