Help me choose a birthday gift! Pave VA vs Lotus Earrings

Hi beautiful people!

I'm new to TPF and saw so many helpful and friendly discussions. I'm looking to purchase a pair of VCA pave earrings for my birthday this November. Would love to hear your opinions on the Vintage Alhambra earrings WG or YG vs the small lotus earrings WG. I love the design and the bling of the lotus collections, but VA is a classic and would be a very nice addition to my collection. My SA is OOO until mid-September, so unfortunately, I am not able to go see in person at this time( Below are the VCA pieces that I already have:

- MOP 10M necklace WG + MOP VA earrings WG
- Onyx 10M necklace + 5M bracelet + VA earrings
- Small Frivole earrings pave YG
- MOP mini RdN earrings
- MOP two-butterfly earrings
- 5M Onyx and Diamond WG Panda bracelet (the VA pave earrings in WG might be a good match?)
- 5M Vendome Edition Porcelaine de Sèvres bleue and Diamond YG bracelet (the VA pave earrings in YG might be a good match?)

I would vote for something not on your WL (sorry if I cause more confusion 😅) - WG VA pave onyx 2-motif earrings since they match your panda 5-motif.
I love the idea of matching earrings and bracelet/ring but I feel if you have YG small Frivole pave, the YG VA pave earrings may be redundant (for now). It’s a piece you can revisit once you get everything on your WL down the line. And, if you decide to get YG VA pave earrings later they will be different than the WG 2- motif pave and onyx earrings.
I love the WG lotus earrings but unless you plan to add the matching ring or pendant, I would revisit that later. I am learning through experience to complete existing sets before moving on to new pieces/designs.
Looking at what you own already, I am assuming you like matching pieces too.

Thank you!! Wow, that’s a great idea I totally agree on your views of the VA YG earrings and I really don’t have any dangling earrings in my collection, this would be the perfect opportunity to try these on.

I had the same thought as @eternallove4bag, the two motif onyx pave earrings would make a beautiful set with your bracelet.
If you're open to not wearing a matching set, then I like that the lotus pave is a bit different than all the Alhambra motifs that you already have.

I have the mini lotus that I wear almost daily. The lotus collection is sooo underrated. I think it’s a winner over the Alhambra pave.

The magic 2 motif panda would be great. I still think lotus earrings are different and could be amazing. But better try them and decide then. I like the open work / see through of these earrings
