I’m looking for a new clutch bag in a lighter colour (as an alternative to my black LouLou) and have decision paralysis!

I wanted something that would go with everything day to night, and maybe through the seasons too - I can only afford one, so wanted to make sure it was as versatile as possible!

I wear a lot of brighter colours in summer, and dark/navy in winter. I have an easily tanned but leaning towards cold told skin tone if that helps!

Please help me pick :)

I like the cream and think it will go with just about everything. Some worry about colour transfer, just be cautious. I personally tend to prefer the style of #3 and almost voted for that right away (actually have this in black myself) but thinking maybe the #2 slightly more durable in the color and for some reason I'm leaning towards that style in the cream (even though I don't usually care for it and find it a bit busy in other colors). My 2nd choice #1 if you end up going with taupe color.

I have an oversized YSL clutch I turned into a shoulder Bag with a $10 gold chain strap from target! Used same chain to convert a Dior wallet into a WOC

My favorite is 3. Mainly because of the wristlet, the cleaner look of the chevron, and the white color, all in one.

However, having bought an envelope wristlet from YSL before, I highly recommend you going into stores to put your items inside. They look big but are very flat. Furthermore, the grain de poudre leather is pretty stiff and structured, so it's not like it will stretch easily to accommodate for more bulky items.
I ended up selling mine. Bought it last minute for a wedding. Never wore it ever again.

If you want YSL, they have a variety of lambskin or calfskin pouches, some with the chevron stitching.

They are still on the flatter side, but they have a bit more depth and more wiggle room due to the softer leather.

Just something to consider, good luck and happy shopping!

I'm a little confused bc I thought you were looking for a light / neutral colored bag but if you've switched gears to black, and you already have ghw, shw makes sense. Or... have you thought about black hardware?
Ah yes, so initially I wanted to go for a light / neutral but then the beige bag arrived and it looked so jarring against my skin tone and I was so worried about the colour transfer on the white… so have considered whether I just go with the black clutch instead! I just didn’t know whether it was a waste as I already had the loulou in black and gold
