Help! LV Twice Empreinte Noir or Gucci Disco Black???

Hello everyone! Seeking help from all you lovely ladies and gents!
So I recently bought the Gucci disco in fuchsia/bright pink and I'm loving it to bits! Fits a ton and very lightweight for a full leather bag (even with stuff in it). I love it so much that I am contemplating getting it in black for a grab and go bag. Aaand just when I thought I'm done with my (advance) Christmas shopping this year, my SA from LV called and said that she has the Twice in empreinte noir on hold for me since I was asking about it a couple months back! The reason why I was eyeing the Twice is that I have the Celine Trio in indigo and wanted a similar style but with non-detachable pouches for security purposes especially when I travel.

So the dilemma is this: should I get the Twice instead since it has been on my wishlist for so long? Ooorrr go with the disco instead since I already have one and adore it? Plus it is going to be discontinued so I might not be able to find it again brand new. There's also the price to consider. The disco that I saw is about USD 1,062 inclusive of taxes. And the Twice would be the retail which is about USD 1,483 inclusive. Soooo big savings right? But either way, I would want to purchase the bag which I will love and use for a long time. So I am willing to stretch out the budget anyways.

For those with the twice empreinte and the gucci disco, which do you prefer more? Taking into consideration the ease of use, what it fits, and how it ages. And also, have you used either of the bags for travel, like for sight seeing and theme parks? Gah!!!! I'm sooo torn! Need help please! Thank you in advance for those who will share me their inputs. Both are great options! I had this exact dilemma for a while and popped in several times to check out both, until I eventually decided that I was gonna go with the Gucci, which is the next on my wish list (I'm on a ban right now though, hoping it doesn't get discontinued before then!).

The main reason was that the Disco fits more and is more functional because it fits bulky items, while the Twice doesn't really. Unless you don't mind stretching out the zippered compartment at the back, but even so, if it's an oddly shaped item, like a camera, I don't imagine it'd be comfortable to constantly have it jabbing into you. For travelling, the Disco also fits a small water bottle while it's virtually impossible to fit a bottle into the Twice unless you have one of those flat ones, and then it takes up the back entire compartment. But then again, i imagine that these would be similar issues with the Trio, so if they don't bother you now, they may not bother you?

If you feel that the Trio is a very functional bag, perhaps the Twice would be a good option since you already own the Disco. I have 2 SLGs in the Empreinte leather and it's an absolute delight. I also foresee that the Twice may fare better in terms of resale value and could be a more classic piece? While I love the Gucci, the truth is I also fear that it may become a trendy piece that looks dated some years down the road when camera bags are no longer as popular, but the Twice is simple and classic enough that it probably won't go out of style.

So true! I find the disco to be very functional and fits my everyday needs. Though I also agree with you with it being like a trendy piece, but I've noticed the camera bag silhouette has been done before and maybe they brought it back now? I find the Trio to be functional too it fits a lot without getting too bulky if you just arrange the items like a jigsaw puzzle. But for traveling... the water bottle and maybe an umbrella is a necessity for me and I think one or both could fit in the disco. While maybe a slim umbrella could fit in the Twice? Idk really. I am still at a loss. And honestly pressured since the Twice is on hold for only until Wednesday. And the disco is just 1 stock left. Soooooo... Gah! [emoji23] But I feel like I already know in my heart which one I should pick (disco) but the empreinte is just gorgeous! Anyhoo, thank you so much for your input! I would consider your points in making my decision. [emoji4]

My fiance actually pointed this out to me. [emoji23] And I settled with the thought that if I need to carry a bit more than the twice can, I do have the disco. And many other bags. [emoji23] Sometimes Instagram and blogger posts really clouds my judgement though. [emoji47]

Anyway, just thought I'd update this since I came home today with what I decided to get. So I went to the LV store and checked out the Twice, the alma bb in epi noir and DE since I've read in the forums and saw on youtube comparisons of the two. The alma bb is such a cute and classic bag but I wasn't a fan of how it looked crossbody. Plus it's hard to get in and out of the bag. Also, I thought that it's a classic and whenever I decide to revisit, I'll be able to buy one anytime.

Soooo... Here's what I came home with. Can't wait for her to be broken in. [emoji4]

You are correct! I actually tried on my things again a while ago (after reading your reply on IG) and I'm happy to report that I am now totally inLVoe with her! All my doubts went down the drain. So, thank you [emoji173]
