Help! Lady Dior Loose Handles

Does anyone know how to tighten the O rings that hold the top handles to the Lady Dior bag? Over time, it's gotten more loose and now the handles move from side to side instead of staying locked to the middle. I also noticed there's hole on the back side of the rings - is that suppose to be there? I uploaded a picture.

Yes, the hole is supposed to be there. It is meant to tighten the rings in place. It would be difficult to do that, but if you have a small mirror, use it to try to see what type of screwdriver head goes into the hole (it should accommodate a small screwdriver). Once you find that, then try to tighten the screw inside and see if it stops the handles from moving side to side.

Thanks for your response. I took a look and it doesn't look like a regular screw head... it seems to be a smooth surface that you can push down. I think I might need a special tool or take it to a professional.

Do you think the Dior store associates might be willing to help me tighten the screws? Or are they not allowed to work on customer's bags and have to send it in?

Yes, they should be willing, although they may have a fee if you do not have proof that you purchased the bag from the boutique.

The hole is a contraption (with spring ) to release the handle. It’s natural for the handle to move from side to side after a while. The handle wouldn’t drop off.

I haven't had the guts to try any screwdrivers or allen keys with my looser back handle rings. My LD is preloved and Dior will not repair without proof of purchase, even if I'm willing to pay for the service. Keep in mind this is a 6 year old bag that has been well worn/loved so I'm not surprised the handles have become loose over time. What has helped is wrapping some thread tightly around one of the rings (on the inside) so that it sits in the tiny grove - this reduces the side to side swinging somewhat. The ends of the thread are visible if you look closely but no one is going to inspect the inside of my bag. The thread can easily be removed as well, so that's a plus.

If you have a LD handle that has become a little loose, it's worth giving this method a shot if you can't get Dior to repair it for you.

Does anyone know how to put the lady dior handles back? I removed one handle because I wanted to clean in properly, and now I can’t put it back 😢😢😢

Sorry I can’t help…have you looked on YouTube if there’s a video of someone who has also done it? Otherwise you might have to call your store to ask for assistance
