Help! Knee pain and Travelling to Paris? What FLAT can I wear with a dress?

I am travelling to Paris etc. and I am concerned about the fact that I may want to go into some restaurants with dress codes, and due to my knee injury I will not be able to wear heels. What flat would do the trick?

Is this shoe too casual?



Also, what types of dresses can be safely worn with flats and still look good?

flats are EVERYWHERE in paris, so don't worry about that. for something more appropriate for fancier places, maybe go with a simple ballerina flat or a pointed toe with just the hint of a kitten heel (a la audrey hepburn). go with a dress in a cocktail length
