Help! I’ve damaged my Chloe Lauren sneakers!

I just accidentally spilt some nail polish remover on the black leather of my Chloe Lauren sneakers, and after cleaning it off it’s drying in white streaks. Can I just buff black polish over it? Will that work? I’ve only had them a fortnight - I’m so upset with myself!

Try to put some leather lotion on it. Last resort, use some black polish. Please don’t buff it because the nail polish already dried the leather and took the color with it.

Leather colour should fix it and would not harm it more. It is like shoecream with more colour.
