Help! Is this a real Chanel Quilted Tassel Leather Bag?

This wonderful soft leather Vintage Chanel Quilted Tassel Handbag belonged to my aunt. I am pretty sure it is real but wanted someone with more knowledge in this area to provide some insight on if it is real and the year that this style was made. The quality is high end. Soft leather. Well stitched. Inside is leather. Please help. I sure would appreciate it.
