Hi all, My story...
On 29th June 2009 I went to FSH, we were in Paris and I have read as per previous posts that they take birkin orders twice a year. June and Sep. So I went in that to my DH SA. They have a good relationship, he told me orders were closed and that he would make a plan to try to get my order placed. He also checked the system to see if any had come in that day..No luck! I am after a Black Togo 35cm, GH Birkin. He hadn't contacted me since yesterday 1 August as he was away on leave. He says that his manger is on leave for 2 weeks and he will phone me after that time! I told him I will be in Paris end Dec if I could have by then?? He said he can't promise... AM I EVER GOING TO GET IT!!! Does anyone know what the waitlist time period is???
HELP... I am tooo impatient!:nuts:

August is holiday month in France. Every one from SAs to craftsmen are away.

I'm surprised there was anyone to answer the phone;)

Paris is deserted.

I'm sure you will get you bag just perhaps not so qiickly this month.

Thanks guyz!! I am always like this , I usually get my DH to give me my birthday present before, I can never wait that long!!! I think the SA said 5960 euros....

With Hermes, you have to learn to be patient where Birkins are concerned and I for one don't have alot of patience LOL. I waited over a year for my Birkin (ordered from my local store) and it was worth the wait. However you are alot more likely to find one in Paris - Good Luck

HI, I am from Hong Kong. I can't wait too, so I bought one (brand New) from a store that sells new and used bags. The name of the store is Milan station. I got myself a 35cm birkin for HK$85,000 which is about US$10,897. I know it is more expensive that ordering from the store but first of all, the stores had stopped taking orders from Dec 2008, so I had to get it somewhere else. I do not know how much it would cost if I order from the store but I can't wait for my first bag. Also Milan station allow a 12 months interest free installment payment throught most credit cards from Hong Kong (so I will be breaking my payment by twelve). I am applying for a credit card from Wing Hang bank because Milan station accept 24 months interest free installment plan from Wing Hang credit card. So in the future, if I see a rare bag, I can use this card and break the payment into 24 months. I hope Hermes store will take order again very soon. As soon as it starts taking in order again, I will place an order with them and wait for my future Hermes bags. If anyone ever comes to Hong Kong, you can take sometime to visit a Milan store. Great news guyz.... My SA from FSH phoned me last week tues... my order has been placed.YAY!!! atleast now I can be at peace knowing they are making my bag!!! But still don't know when to expect it...
