I contacted the police yesterday, however, the proper agent has yet to call me back. The sketchy guy told me that if I don't deposit the check today than he will contact "my countries" FBI. I assume that is false, as well? Hehe. You guys are the best!

Make a copy of all the emails, etc, and present them to your local police dept, along with filing a report. Be sure an print out the entire header from the emails, then they can figure out where they are from, just in case.
I hate scammers as a rule. If they are threatening you the police need to be aware of it.
Just my thoughts....
